Your Whole Self is the Instrument

Wednesday, October 28th

12 - 1 p.m.

If you’ve been trying to change how you sound and it feels hit-or-miss, the piece you’re missing is that Your Whole Self is the Instrument.

Come learn how your voice actually works, how the body, heart and mind are interconnected, and what it takes to sound and feel the best you can.

We’ll be addressing problems like

  • high notes and/or low notes feeling strained, stuck or impossible
  • running out of breath before you want to
  • the voice sounding thin, waver-y, or feeling unreliable
  • sounding “pitchy” vs. actually singing out of tune.

All of these boil down to how you’re using your body.

Your body was built for singing, but it didn’t come with an instruction manual.

We can be tempted to think that sounding “bad” means we were born without talent.

Sounding “bad” just means you have some skills to learn.

In this free workshop, you’ll learn where your particular gaps are, and why it’s within reach to sound better than you ever thought possible.

There will be time for Q & A. Bring your questions!

A replay will be delivered to your inbox within 24 hours.

Singing to Feel Better

Wednesday, November 11th

12 - 1 p.m.

We have decades of research proving that listening to music helps people manage pain, anxiety and the stress of everyday life.

Since 2008, I’ve volunteered at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and seen with my own eyes how a person’s countenance transforms when they’re given the gift of singing with others. Come learn how you can apply this healing power of music to yourself.
